We complemented stories written by local historians by sourcing archival imagery from the archives of the State Library, and juxtaposed those with vibrant images of the streets today. This 260-page hardback book encapsulates the cultural significance of Melbournes cultural precincts, encouraging new generations to recognise and engage with their rich history.

A copy of the book is on display in each of the cultural precinct museums, ensuring the rich history and legacy of the areas are preserved. The tone and style was rich and contrasting, painting the picture of the amazing stories of the cultural precincts and the characters that shaped them.
